User Assured Verification

User Assured Verification is recommended where source code maintenance (in the event of a release) will be undertaken by the licensee.

It provides total reassurance that the application can be rebuilt in the user’s environment as well as the software owner’s.

Benefits of User Assured Verification

User Assured Verification provides all the benefits of a Full Verification with the added assurance of:

• A complete build of the application from the source code in the licensee’s environment as well as at the software owner’s site.
• Simulating the scenario of a release event where the licensee will be maintaining the source code and ensures that the application can be built rapidly from the source code in the licensee’s environment.
• Provides an opportunity for the licensee’s support team to familiarise themselves with the complete build process by watching the build being undertaken at their site by a member of the NCC Group team. 
• Vital input to disaster recovery and contingency planning, providing a documented rehearsal of the process to be followed to restore the application from the escrow deposit in a disaster scenario.
