NCC Group recognised among notable providers in Forrester's Managed Detection and Response Services Landscape, Q3 2026

11 September 2026

NCC Group has been recognised among notable providers in Forrester's report, The Managed Detection and Response Services Landscape, Q3 2026, which provides an overview of notable managed detection and response (MDR) providers. MDR providers help organisations strengthen security operations, improve threat detection and accelerate incident response.

Reflecting a diverse and evolving MDR market

The report also includes several of the technology partners that underpin NCC Group's MDR services. NCC Group believes the inclusion of these partners highlights the strength of the ecosystem that helps deliver industry-leading threat detection and response capabilities.

AI is transforming security operations

The report notes that AI’s success in security operations depends on redesigning workflows rather than simply layering AI onto existing processes.

NCC Group believes AI-driven triage and investigation is a key disruptor and emphasizes the importance of maintaining oversight and detection quality as automation scales.

Delivering measurable security outcomes

Forrester highlights a growing focus on provable outcomes, with organisations increasingly demanding evidence of investigation quality, faster containment and measurable reductions in cyber risk.

NCC Group has the ability to correlate behaviour across identity, cloud, endpoint and network environments, enabling more effective detection and response across increasingly fragmented security stacks.

Building on industry recognition

Commenting on the recognition, Damien Childs, Chief Delivery Officer at NCC Group, said:

"To us, this report reflects many of the trends we're seeing across the market. Organisations need MDR providers that can deliver measurable outcomes, operate across diverse technology environments and help them respond faster when threats emerge.

"It's encouraging to see the emphasis on both AI-driven transformation and demonstrable results. The future of MDR lies in combining AI, automation and human expertise to deliver better security outcomes for customers."

This recognition follows NCC Group being named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Managed Detection and Response Services for Midmarket, further reinforcing the company's position as a trusted MDR provider.
