NCC Group makes commitment to military forces community and their families

27 February 2020

Today we have made the first step in pledging support to the military forces community and their families by signing the UK’s Armed Forces Covenant. The Covenant is a promise made by organisations to ensure that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

NCC Group’s CEO Adam Palser signed the Armed Forces Covenant alongside Lieutenant General James Hockenhull OBE Late Int Corps in London, UK.

They were joined for the signing by some of the NCC Group team, who have previously served in the UK armed forces. David Orr, Ade Clewlow MBE, Paul Allen and Nick Harrison who served in the Army; Colin Gillingham, a former Royal Marine; and James Lovatt who has recently been selected as a Reservist.

Adam Palser comments: “Signing the Forces Covenant is the first step in an enduring and important relationship with the Forces community. Over time, we will work to strengthen and expand this relationship, confident in the knowledge that it will bring benefits to both NCC Group and regular, reserve and retired forces community not just in the UK but wider too.”

In related news, NCC Group’s Security Operations Manager, David Orr has also been named in the British Ex-Forces in Business Awards as a finalist in the New Service Leaver of the Year award category. The results will be announced at an award ceremony in London on 20 May 2020. We wish David and nominees across all categories the best of luck.
