A leading analyst firm has published its 2021 MDR report that also includes NCC Group, listing the global cyber security firm as a ‘strong performer’. In the report, the firm evaluates the top vendors within the fast-moving, cluttered and convoluted MDR marketplace.

The report, that evaluates 15 top MDR services providers, states, “Thinking like an attacker is a valuable skillset for defenders, which NCC Group injects into its MDR offering in a unique way. It combines this approach with threat intelligence, native offensive and defensive security research, and its 2015 acquisition of Fox-IT, which all allow NCC Group to meaningfully deliver MDR.”

19 criteria were taken into consideration by Forrester analysing the MDR market for this publication across three categories: current offering, strategy and market presence.
