Our speakers

Siân John MBE, CTO

NCC Group’s recently appointed Chief Technology Officer and former Director of Security Business Development and Strategic Growth for Microsoft. Siân has over 25 years of experience in cyber security, having worked in strategy, business risk, privacy, and technology.

She is a member of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Council, chairs the Cybersecurity Management Committee for TechUK. She is a member of the advisory boards for UKRI Challenge Fund Digital Security by Design and LORCA, the UK government startup accelerator. In 2018 she was appointed MBE for services to Cybersecurity.

 

Lesley Kipling

Incident response lead and forensic investigator working for Microsoft’s Enterprise Cyber Security Group. An ex-geologist, Lesley moved into the IT industry 20 years ago and joined Microsoft 17 years ago. The last 14 years have been spent working with customers across all industry verticals during major security incidents and replicating that experience into training customers on how to protect themselves from these threats proactively.

 

Nigel Gibbons

NCC Group’s Director & Senior Advisor of Global Cloud Security Services. Nigel has been with us for the last six years as a consultant and has written several articles within the cyber security community, which makes him a valuable expert in this domain.
